Arranging a try-out session

Before You Join
BACK TO "ABOUT"
The club runs assessment sessions to evaluate newcomers. Following this we try to find a squad that has a vacancy and which suits your level. To be invited to an assessment, please email us and tell us as about your tennis experience, any history of competing and tell us if you're returning from a break from playing.
N.B. Costs of the court(s) and coaching fees are shared equally between players present at any session.
EMAIL THE CLUB
After the assessment, you will be given feedback and, if suitable and if there is room in the appropriate squad, you will be invited to become a regular player.

Examples of sessions:
Played a bit but haven't played for years. Able to play weekday mornings.
“Rusty Racquets”, Beginners & Improvers, Highbury Fields, Mondays between 9.00 and 12.00.

Played quite a bit, been a member of a tennis club, played actively within or for a club. Men and women.
Potential Highbury Tennis Club squad member.
Contact the club for an initial assessment. You'll then be invited to one of the men's or women's team sessions to suit your availability and likely playing standard.
