This winter we are entering 3 women's and 3 men's teams. It is the first time our Men's 3rd team has competed in the winter.

Men’s 1, East Division 5. Our warrior men have been unstoppable all season securing a phenomenal result and promotion.
Men’s 2, East Division 7. M2 is having a fabulous season. Men’s 3, East Division 8. M3 is looking very strong - can they achieve promotion?! Women's 1, East Division 2. Even though W1 are new to Division 2, they have powered ahead and things are looking dazzling in this ultra competitive league. Women's 2, East Division 5. W2 is having a fabulous season but it's going to be a tight finish. They are giving everything to secure a promotion. Women's 3, East Division 7. W3 is jostling for second place in this strong division. Go Highbury! |

Men's 1 - East Division 5 Our brilliant men's 1st team is shining bright and invincibly at the top of Division 5. What an outstanding season they have had. See "Photos" page for snaps of them beating Vicars Moor.
Men's 2 - East Division 8 Our men's 2nd team is celebrating too with a guaranteed promotion. Just rewards for a hard working squad. Men's 3 - East Division 11 And the icing on the cake is that our fabulous men's third team has come equal first in Division 11 so will also step up next year. This is particularly impressive as this team was only launched last season. Huge congratulations to all players who made this possible. Women's 1 - East Division 2 Our women's 1st team has clinched the top spot by 2 points in a tense finish to the season. The valiant first teamers never faltered and deserve they hard fought promotion. Women's 2 - East Division 5 Our women's 2nd team has been very unlucky indeed to miss promotion this time - just three more points and they'd have been there. They produced some fabulous scores across the summer and will be ready for domination in 2017. Women's 3 - East Division 6 Our women's 3rd team found their feet after a wobbly start and ended in 4th place. Their results improved with every match so they'll be ready to rattle some cages next year. Women's 4 - East Division 9 Our fabulous women's 4th team is top of the division and can't be deposed! What a fantastic result from a determined squad which has suffered more than its fair share of injuries this season. See "Photos" page for snaps of their post match picnic after playing W5. Women's 5 - East Division 9 Our newly formed women's 5th team may be further down the division but they have excelled this season, notching up two match wins and some very handy sets. They've encouraged new players and tested out new partnerships and so they're all set to strive for promotion next time. |

Middlesex Cup 2016
This was a new competition for our men. It's a tough knock-out format but this tremendously strong and focused squad made it all the way through to the finals. Click on buttons for team photo and to see the draw.

Our men have finished in second place which is a great result as they were newly promoted to this division. This is doubly impressive when considering that they have taken part in three separate competitions this season. Click on link for details of all matches. |
Middlesex Winter Floodlit League 2015-2016
Men’s 1, East Division 7. Our men started the season in scintillating form and never looked back. They have ended top of the table having fought off all challengers and are guaranteed promotion next winter. Captain Henry Horton led by example and stewarded the men to this fabulous result. Men’s 2, East Division 9. M2 was new to the League so started at the bottom but they didn't pause for an instant. Captain Will Porter led the men to a series of stunning results and they have been rewarded with promotion. This is a fabulous debut performance. Click link for all the details. Ladies’ 1, East Division 3. L1 have dazzled throughout the winter season and have secured yet another promotion, this time to the heady heights of Division 2. This is a brilliant result as the standard of play this far up the League is extremely tough. Special thanks to outgoing captain Maxine Bligh who led the players to this triumph. Click link for all results. Ladies' 2, East Division 5. L2 has been blighted by injuries but, in spite of this, they've kept their heads held high. The final result no way reflects their core ability and they are sure to fight back next winter. Thanks to out-going captain Susan Hahn. Click link for full results. Ladies' 3, East Division 8. As newcomers to the Winter League, L3 started in the lowest division. They've had a feisty season, producing sparkling results in chilly temperatures. They've missed automatic promotion by a whisker but are well set to dazzle their way through next season. Well done to new captain Angela McCallion. Click link for full results. |
Middlesex Summer League 2015, May-July
Men’s 1, East Division 6. Our men have ended in 2nd place which guarantees promotion in a tight fought battle for supremacy with Pavilion I. These two teams have crushed the rest of the division - 40 points ahead of the nearest contender and they both deserve their step up to the next level. Well done Highbury for a stunning season! Men’s 2, East Division 9. M2 have had an equally impressive season and ended triumphantly in the top spot. Promotion to Division 8 in 2016 will see them against fresh opponents but they will no doubt continue with their determined conquering of the League. Click link for details. Men’s 3, East Division 11. Our newly formed and spirited men's third team has completed its first season and ended with their collective heads held high. Our brilliant ladies first team has had a stunning season ending top of the division by a clear 24 point lead. You can't argue with that - well done girls! Click link for full details. Ladies' 2, East Division 5. L2 have produced steady results all summer in spite of squad injuries and have ended the season respectably in the middle of the division. This tightly-knit squad has amazing team spirit so they'll be ready to fight for promotion in 2016. Click link for final results. Ladies' 3 East Division 7. L3 led the division all season and ended up sparkling at the top of the division by a vital 2 point margin. This was just reward for a squad that has trained hard for several years. New club members also played a valuable role. Well done team 3! Click link for final results. Ladies' 4 East Division 8. Our L4 team saw its best ever performance in 2014 and were rewarded with promotion. They found this season tough going but always remained positive and learnt a lot from their matches. Our men are outright winners of Division 6 East after a truly outstanding performance. This competition is tough, combining singles and doubles in the one event so it makes huge demands on players. Captain Henry Horton thanks everyone who took part and said that there were some critical moments when his squad had to pull out all the stops to clinch vital points.
