The 2017 Good Cause
We are delighted to announce that we'll be supporting the fund used for buying a defibrillator for Highbury Fields. Islington Council has embraced this project whole-heartedly: they have volunteered to be responsible for housing and maintaining the defibrillator at Highbury Fields and for training their staff in its use. Funding has partly come from the LTA and from money raised by people recycling old tennis balls and we hope that funds generated by the 2017 tournament will make up the shortfall.
If you are not yet recycling your old balls, please start today! Drop in old balls at the park keeper's hut and it will generate funds that benefit all users of Highbury Fields and is far more ecological than sending balls to landfill. Click on the link below for more information.

The annual Highbury Tennis Tournament is a regular Highbury Fields fixture. As well as raising funds for the club, each year a donation is made in support of a good cause.
